The Lansky Sharpeners Unisex's Puck Dual Grit Sharpener is a compact and versatile tool for sharpening various cutting and chopping tools. With its contoured shape, it provides a comfortable and secure grip for easy use. The dual-grit design offers a coarse side for quick cutting and shaping, and a medium side for final sharpening and finishing. While the Puck is primarily designed for axes, hatchets, and other similar tools, it can also be used for sharpening kitchen and fixed blade knives. However, some customers found the coarse and medium grit to be a little harsh for the finer cutting edges of these knives. The stone has a diameter of 75.5mm (2.97 inches) and features two flat sides with a beveled edge. As it is used over time, it will develop two convex surfaces. For sharpening a blunt axe, the Puck can effectively remove material and create a sharp edge. However, for a finer finish, a much finer stone and possibly a strop may be needed. Overall, customers have found the Lansky Puck Dual Grit Sharpener to be a useful tool for sharpening a variety of tools. It is easy to handle, provides good results, and is a durable product.
