By naming the book A Far Country and starting with the story “Return Home”, we wanted Esen¬dal's longing for homeland and family throughout his life to turn into a book. “A little later, as I entered the inner side of the door, on the left, I saw the Turkish flag on the top of a solid post, erected on a stone base, painted with white paint. Under the round arch of the post, he was standing directly su¬z from the stillness of the air. My heart fluttered when I saw this red pomegranate flower flag, just above the fallen hill branches with yellowed leaves. I felt the desire to worship. What a stunning beauty she has!.. This vineyard, the yellow and cherry saplings spilled on these places, the burning red leaves, this silence touched me.
