- Homerosçu İlahiler Yunan tanrılarına yönelik heksametron veznindeki otuz üç hymnostan (ilahi/neşide) oluşan bir külliyattır. Bu külliyatın böyle bir başlıkla anılmasının sebebi İlahilerin Antikçağ'da Homeros'a, yani Ilias ve Odysseianın bestecisi olduğu varsayılan kişiye atfedilmesidir. Homerosçu İlahiler külliyatını oluşturan bu kitaptaki metinler matbu olarak ilk defa Erken Modern Avrupa'nın en etkili hümanistlerinden biri olan Demetrius Chalcondyles tarafından 1488 yılında yayımlanmıştır.Hepsi tanrılara yönelik bir çağrıyla başlayan ve bir elvedayla tanrıyı uğurlayarak sonlanan Homerosçu İlahiler icracının farklı yaklaşımlarından kaynaklanan stratejileriyle Eski Yunan dini ve mitolojisi kadar, mitsel coğrafya tasavvuruna, Homeros çağından itibaren sürdürülen ve belirli açılardan bütünüyle korunan icra geleneğine dair kilit nitelikte bilgiler sunar.
