Resposta: I have found no evidence of that happening. My Mac Mini M1 on speed tests always exceeds the purchased speed in speed tests. -

Resposta: I have two of these the mini Mac screwed to the under side on a desk does exactly what it says never had an issues easy to fit less then two minutes to fit four screws or if mounting to back of monitor screw also supplied. -
