ATP Y-250 Accelerator Cable | Fits Select Jeep Models

The ATP Automotive Y-250 Accelerator Cable has garnered a mixed reception from customers, particularly those with vintage Jeep models. Many users appreciate the cable's overall functionality, noting easy installation and satisfactory performance once fitted. Several reviews indicate that the cable worked perfectly for specific Jeep models, such as the 1984 CJ7 and the 1986 CJ7, which has resulted in positive feedback regarding its efficacy in improving vehicle operation. However, feedback also highlights significant concerns regarding the fit and quality of the cable. A recurring complaint among multiple users is that the cable does not meet all specified applications as advertised. Customers have reported having to modify the cable to make it fit properly, especially for models like the 1979 CJ5. The issue of quality control has surfaced repeatedly, with reviewers noting a trend toward cheaper manufacturing, resulting in cables being less durable than those produced in earlier years. One user even suggested opting for less expensive alternatives, as they appear to originate from the same manufacturer. Overall, while the ATP Automotive Y-250 Accelerator Cable may function adequately for some Jeep models, potential buyers should be aware of the fit issues and Consider their specific vehicle requirements before purchase. **
