Flow-Rite Inline Strainers Editorial Review

The Flow-Rite MA-023 34" Screw-on Strainer is a great alternative to expensive replacement pump filters. This strainer is made of plastic with a stainless steel screen that helps prevent large debris from entering the pump. It is important to note that this product is not suitable for standard home garden hoses as it features a standard 3/4" NPT style thread. Customers who purchased this product had mixed experiences. The majority of customers found this strainer to be an effective and reliable product that met their expectations. One customer found this strainer to be very useful for cleaning out their fish pond, while another customer stated that it fit perfectly and arrived very fast. However, some customers noted issues with the manufacturing tolerances and quality control of this product. A few customers found that the screens were not symmetrical and were almost shaped by hand, and the threads tapped at an angle. This made it difficult to screw the strainer onto the male end of their garden hose, and some struggled to find the right angle to screw on. Overall, the Flow-Rite MA-023 34" Screw-on Strainer is a cost-effective solution for those who need to replace their pump filter. However, it is important to ensure this product will fit the tools or hoses you intended to use it with.
