    Resposta: No, there are no bottom hem zippers. The fabric feels no colder than jeans when it is cold out. And when it is really, really cold, wearing two pairs of pants is remarkably warm. I learned this trick when I was traveling and had only 2 pairs of pants. The fabric is very wind resistant, and wearing two pairs of these guys traps an insulating layer of air between the inner and outer pants.
