Introducing the Ambient Weather EZ-NPP Tripod and Mast Assembly with Platform - the perfect solution for installations on flat roofs or concrete pads without the need for drilling lag screws. This assembly is recommended for high wind areas and provides a strong platform with cinder blocks for added stability (cinder blocks not included). Designed for both non-penetrating flat roof and ground installations, the EZ-NPP tripod and mast assembly features a durable, galvanized steel mounting platform. Sized to accommodate four standard concrete cinder blocks as ballast, this assembly ensures that your weather station stays securely in place. Built to last, the EZ-NPP Tripod assembly is constructed of 18 gauge 1008-10 steel tubing and is galvanized using the Flo-Coat process.
This process provides excellent corrosion protection, ensuring that your tripod and mast assembly will stand the test of time. Additionally, the mast collars and connecting components are gold irridited for added corrosion protection. One standout feature of the EZ-NPP Tripod and Mast Assembly is the captive stop-nut design of the mast collars. This design eliminates lock nut spin when tightened, ensuring a secure and stable installation.
The mast collars also feature a mast supporting cup for additional stability, giving you peace of mind even in windy conditions. With a tripod height of 20 inches and one mast included, this assembly provides an assembly height of approximately 66 inches. Need more height? You can easily add up to two mast extensions (EZ-125-35M) to extend the height by 31 inches per extension (extensions sold separately).
