- The WJPM008 jack plates is easy to install at outboard motor brackets that are designed to handle choppy water and heavy-stroke engines. And provide you with better fuel efficiency. It will set the motor back away from the boat transom 5 which will get your prop away from the boat in what is called cleaner water. There is less water turbulence 3.5 farther aft than at your transom and the water goes under your transom, then sweeps up toward your prop. Features: • One piece design. • Provides 8 inch set back from the boat transom. • Gives 5 inch of vertical adjustment. • This manual Jack Plate is rated for 350 HP outboard engine applications. • Made of 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum alloy. • Weighs less than other stainless steel plates. • Easily adjustable from top to bottom. • Designed to fit standard B.I.A bolt pattern without modifications to boat or motor. • Raise the engine by Jack Plate to provides better fuel efficiency. • Stainless steel fasteners for maximum strength and durability. • Centrally located adjustment screw for positive alignment
