Resposta: As long as there’s a check valve to keep the water from siphoning back -

Is there supposed to be a small hole on the backside of the tube?
Resposta: The hole is on the front side (long side) of the tube. It is an anti-siphon feature. When your return pump shuts off and the black tube is under water, the siphon will break since the hole lets air into the tube. -
