It can also be switched into a lockout/tagout position which will not allow the remote contura switch to operate it. Additionally, it can be manually switched from on or off right on top of the unit. This battery switch is a true latching relay in that it does not use any current once it is commanded open or closed. The unit can be set up as "normally closed" and triggered to open the circuit by a digital output such as a BMS or relay.
