Resposta: The box did not fit the rack on my bike. I had to use zip ties to mount it. The lock broke within a couple months after purchase. Box is very sturdy. -

Resposta: I do not know. This box is well built and I normally have 15-20 lbs in the two I have. I have had one of them over 5 years and have had no problems. I would have more concern of the weight you are putting on the rack. -

However, the mounting brackets are minimal and poorly engineered, making it difficult to install on the bike rack. The lock is not very secure and the box can warp over time. Overall, it is a decent trunk for its price.
