Blu-ray Editorial Review

Babylon 5: The Complete Series (Blu-ray) brings the iconic sci-fi series to life with notably enhanced visual and audio quality. While the original pilot, The Gathering, is included, it disappointingly lacks a proper remaster and shows quality inconsistencies when compared to the DVD. However, fans will appreciate the exceptional HD presentation of seasons 1-5, showcasing the series in its original 4:3 aspect ratio. The audio is noteworthy too, featuring DTS-HD MA 5.1, which adds depth to the viewing experience. Despite some minor annoyances, such as unnecessary breaks and missing special features, this collection is a must-have for lore enthusiasts, delivering a cherished nostalgic experience.
