What is this switch designed for?

This switch is specifically designed for specified applications.

What materials is it made of?

It is made of quality materials to ensure durability and performance.

Does it match the appearance of the original switch?

Yes, this switch is designed to match both the appearance and function of the original switch.

Are these switches LED back lit?

This is back lit, but they do not use LED's.

Will this fit a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.6 turbo diesel 4x4?

Yes this will fit the 2005 silverado.

I have a 2003 Yukon, the enter and reset button does not work on the lower right side steering wheel control will this fix the problem? Thank you

Hi there, yeah for sure it will fix the problem but the lights which is white would not match the OEM ones which are green in colour. So i will advise to change all four of them. But i think the left lower one is a bit of a pain to change as the wires are very short to unplug and plug.I have cut and added wires and soldered it back to make it easier to plug n unplug.Hope this will help and good luck.

I bought all 4 for my H2 Hummer 2005, and they do work but they do not light up for some reason,

Yup that happened to me also. There’s an inline fuse just below steering column that has blown. Mine happened during installation of new switches. Should of removed ground from battery but lesson learned. Anyhow it’s part of the wiring harnesses so you just have to cut it out and replace it. You can find them at any auto parts store

What color is the backlight: blue or white?

They are white well yellow like the factory color

Will this fit 2005 Chevy avalanche?

This is only able to fit for a 2007 model Chevy Avalanche. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further questions.

Where is this product made?

As with most other replacement parts nowadays, it is made in China. If it is any consolation though, the replacement switch I installed in my 2004 Suburban has worked very well for about one year now. If you go to the chevy dealer, it will probably cost you 3 times as much and the AC part will most likely be made in China also. Hope this helps.

How are these removed. Are there any special tools involved?

If you look on youtube, you will find the video's. In short, you disable the airbag (don't skip this!), remove it, remove the steering wheeel and then disabeemble the steering wheel, replace the controller and put it back to gether. The airbag is simple by disconnecting the battery. I was not looking forward to doing all if this to be honest. But I was surprised it only took me about 15 minutes to replace the switch even with removing the steering wheel. There are some video's that show using a screw driver to pry out the switch, but after having done it already, I would not do that. Don't want to crack the foam on the wheel. No easy way to repair that.

Have 2003 silverado 3500 hd will it fit

I have trailblazer but I think it will fit also your car. Good luck

Dorman Power Window Editorial Review

The Dorman 901-121 Driver Information Display Switch is a replacement switch for select models. It is backlit, but does not use LEDs. The switch fits well and is easy to install, although wire lengths may vary. The switch illuminates nicely and is visible at night. Some users have reported issues with the switch light quitting after a few months. The switch is made in China and is a cost-effective alternative to purchasing from the Chevy dealer. Overall, the switch works well and looks good, but it's important to follow installation instructions carefully.
