The Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridges come in a pack of six and are designed to fit the Aqueon Filters. The filters contain activated carbon that removes toxins, odors, and discoloration, and a patented Bio-Holster removes toxic ammonia and nitrites. The diffuser grid also removes additional toxins while adding oxygen for more active fish. The large cartridge measures 5 1/4 x 1/2 x 7 inches. Customers have noted that the filters work well and are easy to use. However, others have complained that the filters start to break down after just a week and are on the pricier side. Some customers have also reported that the packaging seems sloppy, and the filters themselves don't feel like other ones they've purchased.
