Resposta: we haven't used it in that fashion, however I would say yes just by how well the leather has stood up thus far. We have a car key fob on it and one other key, each on their own ring that are secured within the 'C' shaped ring. We haven't had any issues with any of either of those separate rings separating from the 'C' shaped ring. I give it two thumbs up for durability. -
