The Smith's TRI-6 Three-stone Sharpening System is a versatile sharpening tool for beginners and experts alike. It comes with a coarse synthetic (400 grit), a medium synthetic (600 grit) and a natural fine Arkansas stone (approximately 1000-1200 grit). The molded plastic triangle with handles makes it easy to identify and rotate the stones. It can be used to sharpen knives and hair clippers, but may not be suitable for wider plane blades, chisels or katanas. Some customers have complained about the accuracy of the product description, saying that it comes with two synthetic stones and one Arkansas stone, and that the stones become unglued from the holder over time.
