Would this work to secure a 1.0 inch drain hose for a washer?
Resposta: I doubt this would secure the outlet if you are trying to use it to prevent it from popping out under pressure. The diameter of the base is just under 2". If your outlet house is the standard inverted "u" and hold into a PVC pipe then I would just use a zip tie around the two pipes. -

Resposta: This product is all made from the same material, the outside and inside. But be careful with the little flaps, they seem to break off easily. -

Resposta: 2-3/8 inches is the size of the hole needed to fit the throat of this grommet. The flange on top is larger than that, allowing for any ruggedness in the cut to be hidden. -

The HYCC 2-3/8" Flexible Desk Grommet comes in a pack of five and is made of black plastic that is fairly flexible. However, customers have reported that the inside flaps of the grommet can break off easily. The grommet has an inside diameter of approximately 1.75", which is smaller than advertised, and may not be suitable for securing items that require a tight fit. Additionally, some customers have had trouble using this grommet to secure a 1.0-inch drain hose for a washer. The grommet fits into a 2-3/8-inch hole, which allows any rough edges from cutting to be hidden.
