The machine comes with a needle installed and a pack of 3 additional needles, as well as 4 bobbins. It uses SA156 bobbins which are class 15 type bobbins. The machine does not have variable speed control or start/stop or speed control buttons, and the speed is controlled by the foot controller. However, it does have a reverse button on the front of the machine for reinforcement stitches. Brother offers online technical support for the machine. Customers have reported that the Brother CP60X is of excellent quality and can sew in a variety of materials, including felt, cotton, silk, sponge, leather, jersey, and two-way stretch material. However, it does not do monogramming and is 120 volts, which may require a transformer for use outside of North America.
