Vector Rechargeable Light for Power Outages VEC153 (3-Pack)

The Vector Rechargeable Light for Power Outages (VEC153) faces mixed feedback from users regarding its performance and overall value. While some customers appreciate the potential of the lights, especially noting that upgrading to a brighter 3V LED flashlight bulb can significantly enhance their brightness and extend their functional life, others have expressed strong dissatisfaction. Longtime users have reported that tweaking the lights—by replacing the original bulbs and using higher capacity rechargeable batteries—can lead to improved performance, allowing for operational times of over 28 hours. However, these enhancements come with the initial hurdle of older design limitations and underwhelming brightness levels when first used. Customers have pointed out discrepancies in brightness compared to other available options, leading to disappointment during initial use. Overall, while there is a potential for these lights to perform well with modifications, the experience of many users highlights a frustration with their out-of-the-box brightness and reliability, leading some to label the product a poor investment. Prospective buyers may want to Consider alternative solutions if they are looking for immediate effectiveness during power outages. **
