    Resposta: I ordered both the round and square grill, I tried the square grill with the sub woofer I had and if I remember correctly about three of the holes did not line up with the holes on the sub woofer. If you want to protect your speaker from damage then this gill will work. As I had mentioned before if you are not concerned with the look of the legs which protrude beyond the perimeter of the speaker then you could purchase this item.

    Resposta: It will not rub. No matter how loud you play it. It will blow before it rubs. I have this set up with an reflex enclosure. There is a slim potential it will rub if placed in a sealed enclosure but very slim.
