The game is played in two teams. While the game is relatively self-explanatory, the rulebook is poorly written. It doesn't specify whether only German or international hashtags can be used, and the image cards are not easily found on Instagram with the most common hashtags. This leads to debates about flexible terms and hashtags during the game. At the start of each round, players draw a theme card, spin the wheel, and come up with a hashtag that fits the theme and starts with the selected letter within 60 seconds.
