Resposta: I would not recommend this for an automotive application since it will leave a hazy appearance on the vehicle, and since it is extemely sensitive to anything brushing up against it (you can damage the coating by touching it). -

The UltraTech 4008 Ultra-Ever Dry Bottom Coat is a translucent white coating that offers superhydrophobic properties. However, it is not recommended for automotive applications as it can leave a hazy appearance on the vehicle and is sensitive to touch. The coating lasts for approximately one year outdoors and is susceptible to UV damage and abrasion. It can be used on concrete and plastics like Polyethylene, but not on glass windows. It is not suitable for use on camper roofs due to the breakdown caused by UV rays.
