How do you apply Dap Presto Patch?

To apply Dap Presto Patch, clean the surface where repairs are needed, removing any dust or debris. Use a putty knife to scoop up the compound and press it into the damaged area, smoothing it out to match the surrounding surface. Can Dap Presto Patch be painted over?

Absolutely, Dap Presto Patch is paintable once dry, which allows you to seamlessly blend your repairs with the surrounding surfaces. After applying the patch and ensuring it has cured completely, you can sand it lightly and then use primer followed by the paint of your choice. This feature makes it ideal for achieving a uniform appearance in your home improvement projects.

How long does it take for Dap Presto Patch to dry?

Drying time for Dap Presto Patch depends on environmental conditions, but it generally dries to the touch within a couple of hours. Complete curing may take longer, especially in high humidity.
