In general, the Barska 10-40x50 Varmint Mil Dot is well-received by customers, with one commenting that it's a great scope for the price. Another customer reported that they have never had issues with any of the four Barska Scopes they've owned. However, another customer noted that during laser bore sighting, the entire setup, including scope, base, and rings, was found to be off in windage by just over 4 mil-dots, and the manufacturer stated that the adjustment range only included +/- 15 MOA for a total of 30 MOA available. Upon making adjustments to the base and rings, the windage was less than a mil-dot from the start, but the elevation remained less than two mil-dots. While the replacement for the original scope was better, it did not hold zero.
