General Hydroponics KoolBloom Ripening Formula is an excellent nutrient additive for flowering plants. The product has received mixed reviews from customers, but mostly positive experiences have been reported. This product is often used in conjunction with the Maxi series, Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus, Armor Si, and Diamond Nector. The product is water-soluble and can be used with DWC. Dry KoolBloom can be used alone in DWC or with other nutrients. Additionally, it is pretty cost-effective but might cause the pH level of nutrient solutions to drop. The downside of this product is that some customers have reported adverse effects after exceeding 200 PPM or 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. Therefore, it is advised to start with a lower dose and monitor the plants for a few days.
