Generac Transfer Switches 7109 Editorial Review

Generac 7109 Two Wire Home Standby Remote Start Kit for Generators is an essential accessory designed to enhance the functionality of Generac generators. Ideal for homeowners looking to switch their generators from automatic transfer to remote control, this kit seamlessly integrates with the 22kw Honeywell generator. Users have noted its plug-and-play installation as a key benefit, allowing for an easier setup than suggested by the instructions. However, it's important to consult updated online instructions as some information provided may be outdated. Despite minor confusion regarding the attachment of connectors, the programming instructions are reported to be clear. This kit, while invaluable for remote starting, does not include a necessary 6.3A fuse for the 120VAC power wire, which users should keep in mind before installation.
