It has a diameter of 6 inches plus the rim, which is 7.5 inches, and a height of 10-3/8" from the bottom of the mounting bracket to the top of the mirror. When folded against the wall, it is about 1 1/4" deep off the wall, a width of a little less than 8 inches, and height of about 11 inches. The joints can be tightened, but they may slowly hang down over time when hanging down, and the mirror will only rotate sideways. It is possible to use light for the mirror supplied from the bathroom light. Customers appreciate the Jerdon 6-inch mirror for its easy installation, small size, and magnification. However, some customers do not recommend it, and some wished that a brushed nickel size was available.
