While the product works well for i9, Hydra and torch hubs, it may not work for vintage or 3-speed hubs. Moreover, it is not recommended for use in DT Swiss ratchet systems. The product can either make the freehub louder or quieter depending on whether it is used in oil or grease form. The lubricant needs to be applied with finesse, and a video is available for reference. Although the product may leak in transit, it typically lasts long and can oil many freehubs.
