Oink Games Dedicated Deck Card Games 77118 Editorial Review
**** Maskmen is a strategic board game that caters to a range of player counts, though player experiences can vary significantly based on the number of participants. When played with 2-3 players, the game offers a tightly-woven tactical battle that rewards strategic planning, where seasoned players often hold the advantage. However, as the player count escalates, the game devolves into chaotic interactions where luck can play a major role in determining the winner. Many players express a preference for smaller groups, stating that the game shines brightest with fewer participants, with higher counts introducing elements of unpredictability. The game's mechanics, while unique and requiring some initial acclimatization, offer a refreshing twist on traditional trick-taking games. Reviewers appreciate the fun factor, especially after becoming familiar with the game’s nuances. Despite criticisms regarding the rulebook's clarity, players find that once they grasp the gameplay, it becomes a quirky and enjoyable experience. The whimsical wrestler design adds an appealing aesthetic element that many players enjoy, complementing the high-quality components of the product. Overall, Maskmen presents a fun and engaging tactical experience for smaller groups looking for strategic depth, although players should be prepared for a different dynamics and order chaos in larger settings. **
