Gail Buckley (Editor) Format: Imitation Leather Bibles Editorial Review
The Catholic Scripture Study Bible: RSV-CE Large Print Edition is highly recommended by customers for its helpfulness in spiritual journeys and ease of use. The overall size of the Bible is convenient, and the 12pt print size is comfortable to read. The many extras, such as images and supplemental pages, are praised for being very helpful. However, some customers expressed concerns about the placement of apologetics throughout the Bible. They found the random placement of apologetics distracting and would have preferred them to be located in the back of the Bible. One customer even had to cut out sections to avoid distraction, unintentionally damaging the Bible in the process. Despite this, it is acknowledged that the apologetics themselves are interesting and important to read. Overall, the Catholic Scripture Study Bible is seen as a valuable tool, especially for converts to Catholicism. The colored inserts address common issues that non-Catholic Christians have with the Church and allow for scripture-based responses. The only suggested improvement is the addition of an index for the inserts for easier reference.
