It comes with a braided stainless hose with valve/regulator for heat control and an igniter. It only uses pressurized isobutane canisters with a lindal valve. The stove can be used for simmering and the insulated carrying case can be washed by hand in lukewarm water. However, it may not be suitable for use as a double-boiler.
