Although not marketed as waterproof by Skechers, the sandal is suitable for getting wet in freshwater or saltwater without noticeable damage. However, caution is required while wearing them at the beach to prevent sand from getting between the shoe and feet. The Skechers sandal comes in sizes which run half a size larger and slightly wider than normal, and the only available width option is standard. One downside is that it lacks more cushioned footbeds which are a feature of Skechers' shoes. The durability of the sandal is still up for judgment.
