To prepare your concrete floor for the stain, we highly recommend renting a swing machine and using our Super Blue diluted at a ratio of 3 parts water to 1 part Super Blue. This will open up the concrete, allowing the stain to penetrate effectively. Additionally, our Citra Peel can be used to remove any existing sealer on the floor, ensuring optimal stain absorption. Applying the Water Based Stain is a breeze.
Simply use a plastic pump sprayer to evenly distribute the stain over the surface. Avoid letting the product puddle and then spread it in a circular motion using a microfiber mop. The result? A streak-free and beautiful finish. Depending on your desired color intensity, a second coat or the addition of a second color can be applied.
