The TECHTOO USB 3.0 to Serial Adapter is a converter cable that allows the user to connect a USB port to an RS232 (DB9) device. It comes in 16-foot length and uses an FTDI chipset that is compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2000, Android, Linux, and Mac OS X10.6 and above. Drivers can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website or use the CD provided in the packaging. Customers are overall satisfied with the product performance and ease of use. The cable works well with various devices, including Raspberry Pi, computers, and equipment for programming and logging data. The installation is straightforward, and the drivers can be downloaded or installed automatically. The support and prompt communication of the seller are also commendable. However, there are some concerns raised about the compatibility with Windows 10, where a few customers experienced issues with driver installation and connection. Some customers also found difficulty in identifying which version of the cable they got and the chips used, as there are two kinds - one with a Prolific chip and the other with an FTDI chip.
