Its patented hinge technology offers an extra layer of protection, delivering a nearly impenetrable seam to help protect against theft intrusion. Also, the A-Series has a patented four-point locking system to lock the cover instantly and simultaneously with the tailgate. This retractable aluminum cover permits opening or closing in literally seconds, without snaps to manipulate or heavy folding panels to lift. With the turn of the lever and key, the A-Series truck bed cover smoothly slides open with a torsion spring. The cover can be pulled back with a built-in pull strap for smooth operation. The cover also features a patented, ratchet-style latching mechanism, enabling it to lock in place at four open positions.
