The TeraFlex 1544790 TJ Rear Lower Shock Extension Kit came with mixed reviews. Some users found it to be sturdy, prevented the shocks from touching the spring plate, and avoided the exhaust pipe on the right side. However, other users reported they had to clean the painted threads and run a tap through the threaded holes. They even had to narrow the inside of the shock mount area to fit the shock. Users also found the extension kit challenging to attach to the bracket, and some had to grind metal away and trim the center bushing on the lower shock mount. One user even had to cut their tailpipe to clear the new shock position. Overall, users found the TeraFlex 1544790 TJ Rear Lower Shock Extension Kit very beefy and robust, compared to other available brands. However, many users warned that it would take additional work to get them to fit.
