Gibraltar Mounting Hardware 8700PK Editorial Review
The Gibraltar 8700PK Drum Set Mounting Flat-Base Hardware seems to have received mixed reviews from customers. While some customers find the stands to be beautiful and sturdy, others are disappointed with the quality and feel deceived by Gibraltar. One customer mentions that the stands are of inferior quality compared to what Gibraltar usually produces. They feel that the stands are suitable for a young child but not for a professional or even a high school level drummer. The stands are described as cheaply manufactured and about 3/4 the size of normal stands. The hi hat stand is particularly fragile. Another customer suggests that for the same price, they could have purchased full size DW stands which are more robust and suitable for professional gigs. They recommend a lightweight setup using DW flat base hardware instead. In contrast, some customers are happy with the design and sturdiness of the stands, especially for the price. One customer specifically mentions that the hardware matches nicely with their Gretsch drum set. Overall, it seems that the Gibraltar 8700PK Drum Set Mounting Flat-Base Hardware has received mixed reviews. While some customers are disappointed with the quality and feel deceived, others are satisfied with the design and sturdiness for the price.
