The USB HART Modem is a great modem that works as it is advertised. It can also power transmitters off the USB port. The modem comes with drivers that are compressed in .rar file type which is not as easy to use as .zip, however, once the driver files are decompressed they install like normal. The modem also comes with some nice HART utilities. One helpful tip is that if users connect to the modem with older software they can adjust the bits per second to 1200 in the device manager properties to interface with older software that can't automatically adjust as well as newer software that can. The product is quick and easy to set up and easy to use. Customers find it convenient that the device can be powered off of the 24VDC power to the device being programmed.
