The product comes with two thumbscrews of size 5/16”-18 x 1” and can be used with the Hitchmate 4016 bar. The installation is effortless and requires no special installation tools. The 4017 bar goes with almost all kinds of cargo bars, but it is recommended to use it with a Hitchmate bar for better results. The product is robust and can hold weight up to 100lbs. It is designed to work on plastic beds without damaging them, but if you are using a plastic bed, it is recommended to use a spray-on liner to prevent paint damage. The rubber feet at both ends of the bar provide excellent grip and tension.
