However, there are extra blades included in the package. Overall, customers highly recommended the KUM Pencil Sharpener. It sharpened pencils to an excellent point and had a two-stage sharpening process. The internal sharpeners are all cast metal, and the blades are polished and made in Germany. The compact shape catches the shavings and has a reasonable price. It also comes with extra blades and two extra holes for sharpening lead holders. The KUM sharpened better than some customers' new electric sharpeners.
