Does this remove oil based paint over spray?
Answer: Our car had minor overspray on the windscreen from a neighbour spraying his wheels and some light specs on the bonnet and after a quick wash and very quick clay using just soapy water it's removed most of the dirt and spray without much effort, I would recommend getting clay lubricant as everyone says it makes all the difference and half the effort, it's the 1st time I've used clay and for price it's worth it -

Will it remove ceramic coating on the car?
Answer: As A Jelly has already stated, don't use clay bar on ceramic coated vehicle, it will degrade the finish. However, if you are decontaminating the car ready for a new ceramic coating, then clay is vital step in the process. You can use a fallout remover with a ceramic coating, along with something like a detox wash from Turtle Wax or Meguiar's. These car shampoos are stronger than conventional shampoos, and don't contain waxes, and can be used as part of ceramic decontamination every 6 months. You can top up your shine after with a quality Si02 spray or spray wax to protect and beautify your finish. Hope this helps. -

Will it remove rust dust from when my brakes were metal on metal, it’s all over the body work on the passengers side?
Answer: Yes it will pretty much remove any thing that shouldn't be on your paint work , use water with a dash of soap in it no need to buy expensive solution
