- This Cat 6 patch cable gives every device a wired connection you can count on. Run it from the router or switch to a NAS, desktop, game console, smart TV, or streaming box and skip the Wi-Fi dead spots that stall 4K video and large file transfers. The purple jacket is one of nine colors, so you can color-code which cable goes where and find the right one behind a crowded rack or TV stand. At 2 ft, it links gear sitting side by side without a loop of slack behind the rack. Both ends use a standard RJ45 plug that clicks into any Ethernet port on routers, modems, switches, smart TVs, consoles, and PCs, with nothing to install or configure. A clear snagless boot covers the small locking clip, so the plug slides past furniture and through tight gaps without catching, and you can still see the wiring inside the connector. Inside are four twisted pairs of 24 AWG 100% bare copper, rated to the 250 MHz Cat 6 standard for speeds up to 1 Gbps and able to carry Power over Ethernet per IEEE 802.3af/at to cameras and access points. UL listed under file E305668 to UL 444, with CSA 204790 and ETL marks and RoHS compliance. Backed by Cable Leader's lifetime warranty.
