Literature & Fiction Editorial Review
The book being reviewed is a hardcover version of Dante's Divine Comedy. One reviewer had trouble reading the small font, but others found the print to be fine. The book cover was described as pleasant to the touch, and the centred text down the middle of each page was appreciated for comfortable reading. The book is noted for being a hard read due to its Medieval English language and unusual syntax, but one reviewer found it to be a good mental exercise. The hardcover version is decorated without a dust jacket, and the absence of notes allows for undistracted reading. Gustave Dore's illustrations were also praised.
