Nutritionist's Take
Crest Cavity Protection Toothpaste Gel, Cool Mint is designed to prevent cavities and promote oral health, primarily due to its active ingredient, fluoride, which strengthens tooth enamel. Nutritionists generally view fluoride as beneficial for dental health; however, it's essential to use the product as directed. The gel's formulation also contains a variety of ingredients for flavor and texture, which typically do not pose significant health risks. A potential drawback is the presence of artificial sweeteners and flavors, which may not align with some consumers' dietary preferences, especially those seeking natural products. Overall, this toothpaste can be a suitable choice for individuals looking to maintain oral hygiene, but consumers should consider any personal sensitivities and preferences regarding ingredient quality.
Crest Toothpaste PPAX1237150 Editorial Review
Crest Toothpaste Gel Cool Mint 6.40 oz (Pack of 3) provides effective cavity protection with its sodium fluoride active ingredient. Many users appreciate its refreshing flavor and consistent performance. A longtime user notes that they switched to gel over 40 years ago for its gentler texture, not wanting to risk scratching their false tooth. They emphasize the importance of this specific product in their dental care routine. While some users expressed minor packaging discrepancies, they maintain confidence in the product's effectiveness and value the convenience of purchasing it online, which has saved them from frequent store visits.
