The Z-1000 Transformer is a 100 watt power pack and separate controller that is compatible with Lionel Fastrack and S-Trax. It has a power output of 18 volts and 100 watts. It comes with the transformer power supply itself, a speed controller with speed control dial and buttons for whistle/horn, bell, and direction, and a cable to connect the power supply to the speed controller. It does not include the track snap in connector, but it can be improvised with a soldering gun. The transformer works with Lionel Lionchief and can be used with tubular tracks for Lionel trains, although it is recommended to contact the company for confirmation. It can be used with multiple loops connected by switches, but proper isolation of the loops is necessary.
