Lionel Control & Power Supplies Editorial Review
The Lionel CW-80 80-Watt Transformer is a reliable power supply for train sets. While it does produce a buzzing noise when plugged in, this is normal and can be mitigated by waiting a few seconds before using it. The green light blinking and no response when pushing the handle indicates a short, which should be investigated to prevent damage. Overall, this transformer is suitable for use with various train models, but may not be powerful enough for larger setups.
