The 5205 38" OD Steel Caster Socket is a pack of four sockets designed to fit all wood legs with a #02 stem size, which is approximately 5/16" and tapers slightly towards the top. These sockets require a 7/16" hole and will not fit holes that are smaller than 7/16". The stem of the socket is approximately 1 1/2" in length, which is slightly longer than the caster stem itself. Customers have found these sockets to be well-made and have had success installing them in older wood chairs. There is also a helpful video available on YouTube for installation.
