Injen Technology Air Intake I24EVO5008 Editorial Review
The Injen EVOLUTION Cold Air Intake System EVO5008 receives a mixed reception from customers, reflecting both its strengths and weaknesses. Many users report a noticeable improvement in initial acceleration and performance at higher RPMs, confirming that the product stands up to its promises of enhancing driving experience. The sound produced at lower RPMs is also a frequently mentioned plus, adding an audible thrill to the driving experience that users have enjoyed. However, the performance claims come with caveats. Some customers express disappointment, noting that while the intake system improves throttle response, it does not lead to significant gains in horsepower or fuel efficiency. The product's design has raised concerns as well, particularly regarding its ability to prevent water ingress in wet conditions, which necessitates user vigilance after driving through creeks or other bodies of water. Installation is highlighted as an approachable task, taking about an hour, and the overall Construction quality is generally praised, especially when compared to other brands like K&N. Nevertheless, customer service experiences seem to detract from the overall satisfaction with the product, with users expressing frustration over difficulties in securing additional components. In summary, the Injen EVOLUTION Cold Air Intake System EVO5008 can enhance performance and sound, but potential buyers should weigh its limitations in horsepower gains and customer service before making a decision. **
