The Red Devil 4043 Heavy Duty Paint and Mud Mixer is a great tool to mix paint, drywall mud or mortar. The plastic tip on the end slides off to fit the mixer into a drill. The impeller is plastic, so it is advisable to use it at low speeds to avoid breakage. The unit is powder coated with epoxy. It is not recommended to use this mixer for concrete. The mixer worked well for customers and handled a variety of tasks with ease, from mixing paint to mixing pebble stone and epoxy. Some customers complained of difficulty fitting the mixer onto their drill and that the mixer was smaller than expected. One customer reported that the top round part separated from the ax while using it.
